Faridabad/Alive News: Faridabad Model School, Sector-31, celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm to honour the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India’s second President and a renowned scholar and teacher.
The celebration began with a floral tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan by Principal Mrs. Nivedita Chatterjee, Director Mr. Umang Malik and members of the school staff. A special assembly was also organised to honour teachers and highlight their important role in the overall development of students.
Students presented a variety of cultural performances, including melodious songs, graceful dances and meaningful presentations. Through their performances, they expressed their love, respect and gratitude towards their teachers. The programme created an atmosphere of happiness and appreciation and reflected the strong bond between teachers and students.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs. Nivedita Chatterjee extended her warm wishes to all the teachers. She appreciated their dedication and said that teachers play an important role in developing values, confidence, creativity and a sense of responsibility among students. She encouraged the teachers to continue inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential.
Director Mr. Umang Malik also appreciated the efforts of the teaching staff. He said that teachers work continuously to provide students with meaningful learning experiences and a strong foundation for their future.
The celebration concluded with a message of gratitude and appreciation for the teachers. The programme highlighted that a teacher’s influence goes beyond the classroom and continues to inspire students to learn, grow and achieve their goals.
