Cautioning GENZ, he stated that while technology has made content creation easy today, journalism is not just about creating content, but an art of struggle, patience, ground connection, and integrity. He mentioned that the path to surpassing AI will emerge only through originality. He cited the example of fake news spread during the JP movement to illustrate how a single incorrect piece of news can impact society and emotions.

Anil Pandey, Director of India for Children, stated in his address that there are infinite possibilities in the field of journalism and career in the digital age. Currently, ‘GENZ is emerging as a new challenge in the media sector, providing everything: name, fame, and money.’ He added that journalism is a profession of passion and dedication. The current generation, emerging as viral news creators and content creators, is a golden age generation.

At the end of the ceremony, Head of the Department, Prof. Pawan Singh, honoured senior journalist Amitabh Agnihotri and India for Children Director Anil Pandey by presenting them with mementos.
