Teej Celebrated with Joy and Culture at DAV School

Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School Nh-3 NIT was full of festive cheer on Wednesday as students from Classes III to V celebrated the colourful festival of Teej with great excitement and joy. The event aimed to help young students understand and enjoy India’s rich cultural traditions.

The celebration began with a beautiful poem on Teej recited by Kunishka and Himika of Class V. Their clear voice and confident performance won everyone’s hearts.

Next, students from Classes III to V sang a lively Punjabi folk song while wearing traditional clothes. Their energy and rhythm filled the auditorium with claps and smiles.

Aradhya from Class IV gave a thoughtful speech on the importance of Teej. She explained how the festival is celebrated in different parts of India and what it means in the lives of women.

A fun and colourful ramp walk followed, where students from Class III walked the stage confidently in traditional Punjabi outfits and jewellery. Their joyful presence and cute poses were loved by everyone.

The celebration continued with a vibrant folk dance by students of Classes III to V. Their energetic performance showed the happiness and togetherness that Teej brings.

At the end, Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya praised the students and teachers for their hard work. She spoke about the need to keep our cultural traditions alive and encouraged students to take part in such events for their overall growth and learning.

The event was a mix of fun, learning, and culture, giving students a great chance to express themselves and celebrate the spirit of Teej proudly.
