Faridabad/Alive News: The students of classes VI and VII of Faridabad Model School, Sector-31, organized an educational visit to Amul’s Banas Milk Plant on Monday, 28 August. Students learned about the workings of the plant and the process of preparing milk products. Educational tours are being organized mainly for the knowledge enhancement of the students.
On reaching the plant on Monday, the officials of the plant enthusiastically welcomed the students and teachers. The representative of Amul Plant shared detailed information about the products manufactured, manufacturing capacity, quality check mechanisms, raw material sourcing, distribution of finished goods, manufacturing process, machine based packing, safe procurement and the variety of production.
The students were watching and learning everything interestingly. Then students were taken to milk and cottage-cheese manufacturing unit of Amul, where they were shown how milk is packed by use of robotics and human friendly softwares. The visit was very infomative and the students had a detailed idea about the working of the dairy.
