Faridabad/Alive News: Jiva Public School organised an orientation programme titled “Parichay” for newly admitted students and their parents. The aim of the programme was to warmly welcome the parents and introduce them to the school’s system, values, and working style.
The programme began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony by Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan, Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan, Academic Head Mrs. Mukta Sachdeva, and Principal Mrs. Narjeet Kaur. This was followed by a welcome song by the students, which created a pleasant atmosphere. Students also presented a dance performance on Saraswati Vandana, adding a cultural and spiritual touch to the event.
During the session, the school coordinator and counsellor explained the teaching methods and key principles followed at the school. They highlighted that the school focuses not only on academics but also on the emotional, social, and moral development of students.
On this occasion, Ayurveda expert Dr. Kuldeep Solanki spoke about the importance of Ayurveda and a healthy lifestyle. He explained simple ways to stay healthy through natural methods, which impressed the parents.
The programme also conveyed that education is not limited to classrooms and that cooperation between parents and the school is important for a child’s overall development. The school expressed its commitment to building a strong and positive relationship with parents.
At the end of the programme, Chairman Rishi Pal Chauhan addressed the parents and spoke about the “Jiva Learning System.” He explained that it is a value-based approach that focuses on both academic excellence and overall personality development of students.
He said that the system helps in developing children’s curiosity, creativity, and confidence so that they can become responsible and successful citizens.
Overall, the “Parichay” programme was a successful step towards building trust and cooperation between the school and parents.
