Faridabad/Alive News : DAV NH-3,NIT, celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti thursday with great enthusiasm & fervour. A special assembly was conducted by the Kindergartners to celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The students came dressed in beautiful traditional sikh attire of saffron & yellow colour.
The assembly commenced with the MOOL MANTRA & the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji were shared with the students. Videos on Guru Nanak Dev ji’s life & spiritual journey were played for the students which reiterated the message of “ONE GOD” & “ETERNAL TRUTH”.
GURBANI KIRTAN was recited in praise & glory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji made everyone wonderstruck & spellbound. Students also enjoyed KADA PRASHAD & SWEET PRASHAD prepared by themselves.
The programme concluded on a happy note with festive spirit & unbeatable excitement amongst the students.
At the end, the school Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya appreciated the efforts put in by the children & teachers and gave the message of universal brotherhood etc.
