Faridabad/Alive News: Chief Executive Officer, Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority chaired Sudhir Rajpal the 23rd Core Planning Cell meeting of the Authority today. Present were senior officers of FMDA.Various infrastructure projects were discussed and directives for implementation were issued by Sudhir Rajpal.
The CEO FMDA outlined that as per the directions of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the informatory sign boards of all road developing agencies should be installed on the FMDA roads without delay and the matter may be taken up in the Coordination meeting to ensure all concerned departments comply with the issued directives. This will help citizen be aware of the respective agencies responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the city roads.
Sudhir Rajpal also directed to expedite the process of taking over the sewerage treatment work connected with the existing STPs in Badhshahpur and a letter may be written to Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad in this regard. Under this, the pumping stations, disposal units and master sewer lines of more than 600 mm dia will be undertaken by FMDA.
Additionally, the Authority will also take over the 30 MLD STP of HSVP and 45 MLD STP of MCF in Badshahpur and the 7.5 MLD STP of HSVP in Greater Faridabad. The DPR for this project which should cover all aspects of the engineering works to be undertaken, is to be prepared to take the project forward and submitted for administrative approval on priority basis.
Special repair of the sector 10/11 dividing road from Gupha Dhaba to Ashwani Hospital is being taken up by Municipal Corporation Faridabad. CEO FMDA directed to expedite the work.
Work pertaining to strengthening of Surajkund Road has been completed.
Road upgradation of the sector 15/16 dividing cement concrete 4-lane road and the Vyapar Mandal to Senior Secondary School is nearing completion and work is in progress on construction of footpath and drains.
