Faridabad/Alive News: Faridabad Model School, Sector-31, Faridabad, in collaboration with Amrita Hospital and Rotary Club Aastha Faridabad, organised a comprehensive Health and Wellness Camp for students, parents, staff and members of the community.
The camp provided a range of medical services under one roof, including dental check-ups, blood tests, general physician consultations, eye check-ups, mammography, ECG and gynaecological consultations. Doctors and medical professionals from Amrita Hospital guided the participants and shared important health and preventive-care advice.
FMS volunteers played an important role in the smooth conduct of the camp. They assisted visitors, guided them to different medical stations and helped ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.
A special feature of the camp was the dedicated Mammography Van, which brought breast-health screening facilities to the school campus. The initiative highlighted the importance of early detection and encouraged women to undergo regular preventive health screenings.
At the end of the camp, FMS Principal Mrs. Nivedita Chatterjee thanked the doctors and staff of Amrita Hospital for their valuable contribution and presented planters as a token of appreciation.
FMS Director Mr. Umang Malik also expressed his gratitude to the entire Amrita Hospital team for their support, expertise and commitment to the health and well-being of the school community.
The successful camp reflected Faridabad Model School’s commitment to preventive healthcare and the overall well-being of its students, parents and staff.
