Faridabad/Alive News: Under the able guidance of the principal, Mr. Rajan Gautam, DAV Public School, Sector 49, organised a solemn special assembly to express solidarity and pay homage to the innocent lives lost in the tragic Pahalgam massacre that took place on April 22.
The Primary Wing students participated with heartfelt sincerity by lighting candles, presenting poignant slogans, and reciting moving poems dedicated to the memory of the victims. A well-curated PowerPoint presentation was also displayed, emphasizing the values of peace, compassion, and communal harmony.
A dignified candle march was held within the school premises, with the participation of both students and staff members. To honour the departed souls, a two-minute silence was observed by the entire school fraternity, offering prayers for peace and strength to the bereaved families.
To further express their sentiments, senior students created thought-provoking posters, showcasing their grief, solidarity, and hope for a more peaceful world.
This assembly served as a humble yet powerful expression of grief and unity, reinforcing the school’s commitment to stand together in times of national tragedy.
