Faridabad/Alive News: The Department of Environmental Sciences at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, hosted its vibrant and heart-warming 1st Alumni Meet 2025. The event was a beautiful blend of nostalgia, inspiration, and celebration, bringing together alumni from MSc Environmental Science batches (2016-18 to 2022-24), faculty, current students, and members of the Vasundhara Eco Club.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar, and Dean Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Anuradha Sharma, extended their blessings and best wishes for the alumni and department’s future endeavors.
Dr. Renuka Gupta, Chairperson of the Department and Coordinator of Vasundhara Eco Club, expressed pride in the alumni’s achievements, emphasizing their role as ambassadors of sustainable change. Faculty members Dr. Anita Girdhar, Dr. Navish Kataria, Dr. Sushma, and Ms. Tejaswita also graced the occasion.
The event was enlivened by cultural performances from MSc students and Vasundhara Eco Club members, including Ganesh Vandana, Shiv Strotam, songs, poems, and melodies by Sukriti, Sonam, Tamanna, Roshan, Versha, Muskan, Sakshi, and Deepali. Ms. Kamini, an alumna from the 2020 batch, presented a touching poem on friendship, evoking cherished memories. A highlight was the crowning of Ms. Annu Pandey from the 2023–25 batch as Miss Farewell 2025.
