Faridabad/Alive News: Faridabad Model School, Sector-31 celebrated its 25th Investiture Ceremony on 12 August 2023. The ceremony began with the lamp lighting by the dignitaries. Students of FMS welcomed the eminent guests with a synchronized display of orchestral percussions and a welcome song.
The distinguished guests present on the occasion were A K Malik- Managing Director, FMS Managing Committee, former Advisor to the President of Zambia, and former Commissioner, Cabinet Secretariat, Govt. of India, Raj Malik- former founder Principal of FMS, Sec-48 branch, Rotarian H.S Malik- Chairman FMS and former Chairman Child Welfare Committee, Bench of Magistrates, Govt, of Haryana.
Also present were Dr. Mamta Saini- HOD Electronics, Hansraj College, Delhi University and Secretary FMS Managing Committee, Eminent Cricketer, Mr. Dhruv Malik- Chairman, Venus Foods and Al-yas Gate, General Trading LLC Dubai and also Mrs. Shreya Malik- Asstt. Vice President, Projects, IIT Kanpur, FMS Academic Director Mrs Shashi Bala and Director Principal Umang Malik.
The highlight of the event was the Inter House Patriotic Dance Competition, commemorating 77th year of Independence. The performances were a true showcase of ‘Unity in Diversity’ with power-packed performances from across the four regions- East, West, North and South. The Head Boy Master Abhishek Tripathi and Head Girl Miss Tanvi Bhardwaj took oath along with the other members of the Student Council.
The eminent dignitaries motivated the students with their inspiring and thought provoking words and praised the school management for the well synchronized event. The guests congratulated the students and emphasized on the need for today’s youth to work towards National Integration and become leaders in their future endeavors. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
