Faridabad/Alive News : DAV Public School, NH3, NIT Faridabad organized a fun filled Summer Camp from 22 May 2023 to 31 May 2023 in the school premises. Summer Camp purpose With an aim to revive, revitalize, rejuvenate and explore the hidden talent among students.
Around 300 students participated in the camp with great zeal and zest. Activities like Yoga, Aerobics, Cricket, Volleyball, Handball and Taekwondo were well thought-out to enhance the physical fitness. In order to bring out the creativity and unfold the hidden talent, sessions related to Archery, Music & amp, dance, Art & amp Craft and Public Speaking were conducted.
The training was provided by professional mentors. The camp focused on the development of social skills and promoting independence, resilience and teamwork among learners. Emphasis was not only laid upon speed, strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination ability in sports but the role of yoga and meditation was also highlighted.
The young cricketers were endowed with hands on experience by playing in the best cricket turf and pitches of Chandila Cricket Academy. The budding artists enjoyed Lippan Art, Bottle Art, Abstract Art, Newspaper Canvas Painting, Paper quilling , Key Chain and earring making.
In the closing ceremony, on 31 May 2023, a culmination programme was organized in which children danced, sang melodious songs, shared their experiences and displayed their take aways from the amusing summer camp. Each student was felicitated with a participation certificate.
The school Principal, Ms Jyoti Dahiya was elated to see the overwhelming response and enthusiasm of the students. She encouraged and motivated the students to follow their passion and utilize their vacations fruitfully. All the team mates and students were congratulated for their active participation and making summer camp super successful.
