Faridabad/Alive News: D.A.V located in Sector 37. Students of Class VI A of Public School presented a practical assembly on the topic –Jaago– Mitti Bachao under the able guidance of Principal Deepti Jagota and Middle Wing Supervisory Head Adarsh Sharma.
Highlighting the fragile condition of the soil, the students urged the audience to realise the gravity of the situation and gave a wake-up call towards the need to conserve soil. A spellbinding poem recitation, inspiring thought and a persuasive speech by the students apprised everyone about the soil crisis and exhorted them to take concrete steps to save the soil.
The students also staged a brilliant skit stressing that small steps can lead to big change and a special dance presentation, depicting the theme of the day, enraptured and drilled the message vividly into the minds of the audience comprising the students of the Middle Segment and the proud parents of the students of Class VIA.
The School Principal emphasised the role of the school in providing holistic education and lauded the students for their splendid presentation while also stressing the need to spread awareness towards saving the environment and the necessity to act collectively, as a society, towards achieving the goal.
