Faridabad/Alive News : JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad remembered the great Indian Scientist Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose on his 85th death anniversary and paid tributes to him as a mark of respect. JC Bose was India’s pioneer of modern science and the father of wireless communication.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar today paid floral tribute to Jagadish Chandra Bose and garlanded on his bust. Speaking on this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Tomar said that JC Bose was way ahead of his time. He left behind a rich and diverse legacy, not only as a founding father of experimental science in India but also as a botanist, biologist, and thinker, he added. Prof. Tomar said that the life of Acharya Bose should be a role model for young researchers and they should learn from the life and works of the great Indian scientist.
The faculty, staff, and students of the University also assembled at the bust of JC Bose in the University and paid floral tributes to the Indian great scientist on his death anniversary. It may be noted that the University was named after this great scientist in the year 2018 by the State Government to recognize his achievements in the field of Modern Science.
