Media Students Explore the World of Radio Broadcasting J.C. Bose University Students Visit Radio Maharani 90.8 FM

Faridabad/Alive News: The Media Department of J.C. Bose University, YMCA, organized an educational visit to Radio Maharani 90.8 FM for the BAJMC 3rd Semester students to give them practical exposure to radio broadcasting. The visit was conducted under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Taruna Narula, where students learned about the real working environment of a radio station.

Sapna Suri, Director of Radio Maharani 90.8 FM, shared that the students got hands-on experience in different areas such as studio setup, console operation, microphone use, and audio editing. The most exciting part of the visit was the practical session, where students recorded their own voice clips, hosted mock radio shows, and received live feedback from professional RJs helping them gain confidence and improve their on-air presentation skills.

During the interactive session, popular RJs Anjali, Gourav, and Geet talked with the students about important aspects of radio like voice modulation, scripting, content creation, and audience connection.

CMT Head Prof. Pawan Singh appreciated the initiative, saying, “Practical experience is essential to truly understand radio. Classroom lessons give knowledge, but real studio work builds confidence and practical skills needed to succeed in the media industry.”

The students expressed their excitement, saying the live broadcasting experience gave them a better understanding of both the technical and creative sides of radio journalism. Dr. Taruna Narula, the visit coordinator, thanked the entire Radio Maharani team for their cooperation and support.
