Faridabad/Alive News: Haryana Formation Day is celebrated on November 1 every year. The day marks the formation of state of Haryana, which was carved out of East Punjab on lingual and cultural basis in 1966. This year, Haryana will celebrate its 56th Formation Day. A special assembly on the theme ‘Haryana Day” was conducted by the students of Manav Sanskar Public School Dheeraj Extension Faridabad to commemorate carving of Haryana out of the East Punjab.
The students delivered speeches, important facts and famous personalities of Haryana and presented a folk dance on a Haryanvi song. Later, a quiz on Haryana was also conducted as a learning experience for the students. Chairman of the School Shri Yogesh Sharma wished everyone and highlighted about the rich culture of Haryana. Principal Mrs Rama Kaul briefed students about the contribution of Haryana in each and every field.
