J.C. Bose UST YMCA Extends Admission Deadline to June 25; PG Entrance Exam from July 1

University announces Counselling and PG Entrance Examination Schedule for Session 2026-27; Four new UG courses launched

Faridabad/Alive News : J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has extended the last date for submitting online admission application forms for all Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes (except B.Tech courses) for the Academic Session 2026-27.

As per the revised schedule released by the university, candidates can now apply online through the official admission portal until 25 June 2026.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar stated that the extension has been provided in the interest of students so that more aspirants can grab the opportunity to pursue quality higher education programmes.

Key Dates to Remember

  • Last Date to Apply Online: 25 June 2026
  • Download PG Entrance Admit Cards: 29 June 2026 onwards
  • PG Entrance Examinations: 1 July to 4 July 2026 (Offline mode)
  • Display of Merit Lists: 10 July to 14 July 2026
  • Counselling Commencement: 15 July 2026 (Offline mode at respective UTDs)

NEP 2020 Reforms & New Courses Launched In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), the university has introduced multiple entry-exit options, 4-year UG honors degrees, and the National Credit Framework (NCrF). Furthermore, four new undergraduate courses have been launched from this session:

  1. B.Tech in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics
  2. BCA in Data Science
  3. B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences
  4. B.A. in English

Admission & Exam Criteria Prof. Ashutosh Nigam, Director (Admissions), informed that admissions to all UG courses (except B.Tech) will be strictly merit-based.

For PG courses, written entrance tests will be held, except for MA English, MA-JMC, Master of Social Work (MSW), and M.Sc. Animation & Multimedia, where admissions will be done directly based on graduation marks.

He further clarified that B.Tech admissions will be handled separately via online counselling by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website www.jcboseust.ac.in for regular updates.
