Faridabad/Alive News: Faridabad Model School celebrated Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, with great devotion and joy.
On this occasion, students visited Shree Krishna and Navgraha Temple in Sector 31, Faridabad. They spent a peaceful day in the serene environment of the temple, learning beyond the classroom. At the temple, students attended a storytelling session about the life of Lord Krishna and later participated in a ‘Gallery Walk,’ where they offered prayers to different idols. The visit helped them understand cultural values and encouraged spiritual growth from an early age.
The celebrations continued at school, where children dressed up as characters from Krishna’s life and performed a dance drama showing important events from his childhood. The festive spirit grew stronger with devotional songs, bhajans, and energetic dancing. Teachers and students together enjoyed traditional sweets like pedas and exchanged warm wishes for Janmashtami.
