Faridabad/ Alive News: The Delhi Dynamos, Indian Super League’s North India Football Club started its first training and coaching centre at Homerton Grammar School, sector 21A, Faridabad. The club through this academy endeavors to strengthen its grassroots development programme and nurture young talent. Delhi Dynamos FC has signed legendary players like Italian and Juventus football superstar Alessandro del Piero, Former Brazil and Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos, Florent Malouda formerly of Chelsea / France and John Arne Riise formerly of Liverpool / Norway to name a few.
Meanwhile, Mr. Shakti Chauhan, Assistant Coach and Mr. Roberto Gheimetto were present at the time of inauguration. Mr. Rajtheep Singh, Managing Director of Homerton Grammar School welcomed the distinguished guests along with students who were present there for the training session. The academy, which is a result of the partnership between the school and the elite footballing club, is part of the vision to foster a sporting ecosystem that will change the way we view football in this country.
The students enrolled at the academy, across age categories will be closely watched by the Delhi Dynamos FC coaching staff and will stand a chance to be a part of the junior squad or join the main squad as developmental players. Soccer fans of Faridabad will be coached by foreign coaches who have come from UK belonging to an English Premier League team.
