Haryana Industrial Minister lunches Drivers skills Programme

Faridabad/ Alive News: Haryana Industrial Minister Vipul Goyal launched Drivers Skilling Programme in Press Club Chandigarh. Under this programme, 5 thousands youths across the state would be given driving training, certificate and license, so that less educated youths can get job. The youths age as 18 to 35 years old would be given practical training for 12 hours along with 30 hours study.

In this scheme, backward caste, BPL holders and women will be on priorities, while the former employees will be given discount for five year. An Aadhar card is mandatory to get the training. The government has set certain conditions for this. These youths will be given training in the government approved Driving Schools. This proportion of the number of youth in every district has been decided based on the census of 2011. 8th pass is mandatory for the training. The programme has been named as “skill Haryana, skill India”.

On the occasion the minister Vipul Goyal said under this scheme less educated youths have good opportunity to get job. He said this scheme would be successful along with 246 recognized Driving School in the state and number of schools will be increased in near future, he added. He also planted tree in courtyard of the press club on the occasion.
