160 govt. doctors’ jobs hang in balance

Chandigarh/ Alive News: Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij has once again shown his adamant frown against 160 government doctors who are absent for long time. He has given an order to finish their service, so that new recruit of doctors could be done. The minister has written a letter to the Principal Secretary of health department in this regard and asked the physicians to initiate the process of sacking.

He said they have been repeatedly asked either join or rejoin of their duty. The health minister told that these doctors as 4 from Ambala, 9 from Bhiwani, 4 from Faridabad, 8 from Fatehabad, 8 from Gurugram, 10 from Hisar, 7 from Jind, 6 from Jhajjar, 2 from Karnal, 8 from Kurukshetra, 15 from Kaithal, 13 from Narnaul, 19 from Palwal, 6 from Panchkula, 7 from Panipat, 4 from Rewari, 10 from Rohtak, 11 from Sirsa, 10 Sonipat, 2 from Yamunanagar and 6 from Nuh are included.

Vij said legal opinion is also being taken. The government has to make such a decision to overcome the shortage of doctors in the department, so that new recruit of doctors could be done. Earlier, the Health Department has also recruited 81 retired doctors, so that any obstacle cannot take place in the state health service.
