Faridabad/Alive News : Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatreya will grace the inauguration ceremony at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad on Monday, July 17, 2023. The Governor will preside over the event and unveil two significant projects aimed at enhancing the student experience at the University.
Haryana Higher Education Minister, Shri Mool Chand Sharma will be the chief guest, while Additional Chief Secretary of Higher Education, Government of Haryana, Shri Anand Mohan Sharan will be the guest of honour. Distinguished guests, including Faridabad MLA Shri Narendra Gupta, Badkhal MLA Mrs. Seema Trikha, and Tigaon MLA Mr. Rajesh Nagar, will also be present during the inaugural proceedings.
Detailing about the projects, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar stated that the first project is a state-of-the-art multi-storey girls’ hostel, named in honour of India’s first women engineer, A Lalitha. The hostel boasts 83 rooms and provides residential facilities for girl students. It also houses the Chief Hostel Warden’s Office, Visitor’s Room, and other essential amenities. The second project is the Cafeteria and Student Activity Centre, aptly named after Lord Shri Krishna. This modern facility incorporates a canteen and mess for students, as well as provisions for student clubs. Also, it serves as a centralized hub for student registration, scholarships, and various welfare schemes, ensuring convenience and accessibility for all university students.
Registrar Dr. Sunil Kumar Garg expressed his satisfaction with the university’s comprehensive preparations for the inauguration ceremony. He emphasized that the implementation of both projects, with an investment of approximately Rs 30 crore, further strengthens the university’s commitment to providing exceptional facilities and services to students at every level.
