Faridabad/Alive News : DAV NH-3,NIT celebrated Gurpurab with great zeal fervor to the Parkash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev. The program started with recital of MOOL MANTRA (EK ONKAR) by Gagandeep singh of class L.KG – A. The highlights of the program was a speech delivered by Trisha of class II-A on Guru Nanak Dev Ji in which she focused on Guru Sahib’s teachings and tenets of universal brotherhood.
Serenity floated in the air with the humming of the holy hymns and it paved the way for a very fruitful and productive day.
Afterwards, children also visited Gurudwara Sahib to seek the blessings of almighty. Celebrations of such festivals in school, teach the students to respect all religions and make them feel the unity in diversity. It was a spiritual morning where the entire school learnt that by practicing three teachings of Guru sahib i.e Naam-japo, Kirat karo Vand chhako we can seek the blessings of Lord Almighty. At the end the school principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya wished the students guided them to imbibe the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji in their lives.
