Faridabad/Alive News: Students of Class IV from Faridabad Model School visited HDFC Bank and Canara Bank in Sector 31 to learn about banking and financial services.
At Canara Bank, the students were welcomed by Branch Manager Ms. Soniya Jain, along with Mr. Jaibir Singh and Ms. Swati. They learnt about different types of bank accounts and government schemes such as Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, PPF and NPS. The students also learnt how to fill a cheque and were made aware of OTP safety, secure banking and safe digital transactions.
At HDFC Bank, the students were welcomed by Mr. Rajeev Mahajan, along with Ms. Sanju Sharma, Ms. Ritika and Ms. Ritu. They learnt about different banking departments, ATMs and locker facilities. The students also got a practical experience of withdrawing money from an ATM.
The visit gave the students practical knowledge about banking and helped them understand the importance of financial awareness and safe banking practices. School Director Mr. Umang Malik thanked both banks and their teams for their warm hospitality and for making the visit informative and meaningful.
