Faridabad/ Alive News: On the call of the Haryana Civil Medical Services Association on Monday, a two-hour strike by government doctors on the OPD of the B.K hospital was found to worsen. Many doctors whose duty in the OPD is from 8 am to 2 pm were seen late returning on their duties. The patients had to wait doctors in long queue for long time, while many other patients were appearing to be cursing the hospital system. Usually, the doctors visit in the wards to see the admitted patients after 9 am, but they came on round late today, resulting kin of the patients were witnessed moving here there in the OPD or emergency ward.
Significantly, there is a shortage of government doctors in the state, especially of specialist doctors. And is also demanded to form specialist cadre for a long time, apart from this, doctors promotion issue is also remain. However, the government has invited doctors to negotiate on Tuesday.
