Faridabad/ Alive News: Dementia Care Home is the only place where Alzheimer disease affected patients are provided facilities as they are in their respective homes. It’s an example was witnessed on December 12, at Dementia Care Home, Sector 11, Faridabad, where the home operator, Dr Lalit celebrated marriage anniversary of a couple.
The couple named Professor Jayaram Verma and his wife Premlata Verma native of Delhi, bearing an age of 96 and 88 years old are Alzheimer patient. They are childless, but though they belief the care home is their home and all members of care home including other patients are their family members. In the series, a 50th marriage anniversary for the couple was celebrated with great zeal by the home members.
Meanwhile, talking to media Dr, Lalit said Dementia Home Care provides home environment to all patients, moreover birthday, marriage anniversary and several festivity programmes are organized regularly, so that they can participate in programmes more and more and their mind as well as body is continually working.
