DAV school NH-3 organized assemblage MUN forth offline edition

Faridabad/Alive News : DAV Public school NH 3 NIT organized an assemblage MUN forth offline edition for the classes 11 & 12. The event had the participation of 12 students. It comprises of one Indian committee ALL Indian Political Party Meet [AIIPM] with the agenda of discussing the growing intolerance between the freedom of speech and expression with special emphasis on Press freedom and OTT platform.

And there was a press delegation body namely International Press (IP) consisting of two journalist and one CARICATURIST and one PHOTOGRAPHER. The last committee was a UN committee namely United Nations Security Council (UNSC) deliberating on the agenda of Tension between Russia and NATO with special emphasis on the stand off Ukraine. The member of these committee took part in discussion. The agenda were prepared keeping in mind the vogue issues inviting the stances of future global leaders. There were total three sessions.

The session 1 comprised of the roll call of the delegates and their respective committee. Session 2 comprised of the opening speech and Session 3 included deliberation of the sub agenda.

Before the onset of the event the coordination incharge of the MUN , Ms. Shaffali Grover introduced the delegates with Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya and the judges of the day Ms. Priya kirola, Ms. Meenu Sindhu and Mr. V. K. Dubey. The opening ceremony of the event saw the valuable teachings of the principal to the participants. The closing session concluded with the results of the event.

Bhumi Chandra of class XII (humanities) and Bhawna of class XI (humanities) received the best delegates prize in AIPPM committee with honorable mention to Mansi of class XI (humanities). In the UNSC committee Anushka of class XII (commerce), Jiya of class XI (commerce) awarded with the best delegates. In the IP, Angelina Bohra of class XII (science) received the best Journalist, Naman Dixit of class XII (humanities) the best caricaturist and Vilohit Barua of XII (science) won the best photographer Prize in the event. Anurag Sharma of class XII (science) received the verbal mention in the journalist over there.

The event further ended with an enclosing speech of the principal who congratulated the winner highlighting the importance of such events in propagating innovative ideas emerging in the young minds and preparing them for future leaders.
