Faridabad/Alive News: DAV Public School, NH-3, NIT Faridabad successfully hosted its first intra-school Model United Nations, Aarambh MUN 1.0, on August 21 and 22, 2025. The event opened with a Bharatanatyam on Ganesh Vandana,Speeches of the school Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya and MUN Coordinator Ms. Shaffali Grover& Ms.Meenu Sindhu to wish the delegates good luck followed by the introduction of the Executive Board and presentation of planters to alumni. Led by Secretary-General Kartik Kaushik, the conference featured four committees AIPPM, UNHRC, UNCSW, and International Press. UNHRC was chaired by Mansi Baisla with Ritaali Gambhir and Kajal Soni; UNCSW by Anushka Mishra with Sara Khan and Tanishka Singh; AIPPM by Bhavna with Pavni Khurana and Mehak Sharma; while the International Press was led by Arpita, Bhavyanshu, and Harsh.
Delegates came dressed in traditional attire on Day One and in western formals on Day Two, reflecting both Indian culture and global diplomacy. The closing ceremony featured a western dance, the Secretary-General’s address, and the vote of thanks for Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya, and MUN Coordinator Ms. Shaffali Grover in making the event a success.
The ceremony concluded with awards, where Thavnesh Malhotra, Dhruv Chawla, Anshaj, Taranpreet, Ridhima, and Arhaan were named Best Delegates. Best Committee Award was given to AIPPM.The conference ended with ecstatic Socials.Aarambh MUN 1.0 stood out as a vibrant celebration of culture, debate, and diplomacy.
