Crime Branch arrested 4 robbers, honoured

Faridabad/ Alive News: BPTP crime branch managed to nabbed four robbers who were in planning to rob fueling station from an under constructed building in Greater Faridabad, Sector-79. The arrested youth had already indulged in criminal activities and the police have claimed to solve 16 cases. Over this commendable work, the Police Commissioner, Dr Hanif Qureshi honoured crime branch team with appreciation letter.

This information while sharing with mediapersons in a press conference the police commissioner Hanif Qureshi said. Dr Hanif Qureshi said that on a tip-off, BPTP crime branch incharge Vajeer Singh with his colleague as sub-inspector Samsher, assistant sub-inspector Joginder, HC Kuldeep, Sunil, EHC Sukhbir, Prabhu Dyal, ASI Virender, sepoy Khalid and Sahabuddin  surrounded the constructed building and arrested the robbers.

Dr Qureshi said that a pistol 32 bore, a country made Katta 315 bore, a gun one barrel and iron rod have been recovered from there position. The accused told their name as Shivam alias Shiva resident of Badraula, Tigaon, Gaurav alias Kalu resident of Mirjapur village, Jekki alias Prashant resident Junhera village and Niraj alias Mallu resident of Mirjapur village, Faridabad. These robbers accepted to commit about 16 crimes in Greater Faridabad area in which still two vehicles have been recovered. The arrested robbers have criminal record, in which cases as robbery, chain snatching and vehicle robbery are included. The commissioner said that the BPTP crime branch has done commendable work, for this the team was honoured with the appreciation letter.
