Faridabad/ Alive News: A scholar preparing for an IAS examination committed suicide by hanging from overhead water tank. The deceased was identified as Praveen 25 years-old resident of village Balipur, Aligarh, U. P. He was living in a rented room in Delhi to prepare the IAS examination.
The incident came to light at this time when the deceased came at room of his aunt’s son Kushal who was living in Parvatiya colony, Faridabad. According to Kushal, Praveen came to him on Sunday morning and stood here for the whole day. He went out from his room saying that, he was going to roam. He climbed up to the overhead water tank and jumped by applying rope into his neck. Seeing this, passerby informed the police. The police lowered the body after a hard fighting. A note was found from his pocket, which led him to be son of Kaushal’s aunt. The police informed Kaushal about the incident. The police while taking the body into custody kept in B. K Hospital for postmortem.
According to Kaushal informed to the police he was in depression due to repeatedly fail in his attempt for IAS examination and it might be cause of his suicide. However, Ankhir Police Post in charge Randhir Singh told that deceased family has been informed and cause of suicide would be cleared after probing with them.
