Faridabad/ Alive News: The 30th Surajkund International Crafts Mela is its full swing at this time like every year. In this regard, the fair authorities organized a press conference over the preparation of the male and interacted to media about the participating countries in the craft.
Briefing to the media Sumita Mishra said during the 15 days long mela, 300 cultural artists from Telangana state will be performing cultural programmes- like Oggudolu, Chindu yaksha ganam, Gussadi, Kommu Koya, Mathuri, Chirutala Ramayanam, Kolatam, Perini Natyam, Banjara, Lambadi, Bonalu, Gazals, Quawali etc. Fashion show will be on 13th of Feb 2016 exhibition the various Textiles and weaving styles of Telangana viz, the world famous pochampally, Gadwal sarees, Warangal Dhari’s etc. Food Festival will also be organized during the event with traditional, ethnic and popular cuisines of Telangana State.
She further said several Haryanvi cultural programme besides the world tallest Hookah would be an attractive point in the fair, while Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, selfie click and clean India campaign would be prominently displayed.
Mrs. Added to avoid any untoward incident in the Mela the heightened security has been made for this 1200 police force have been deployed, moreover, 150 HCCTV camera, woman Police force, III tire security have been also arranged.
Briefing about the scheduled programme, she told honourable CM Manohar Lal Khattar as a chief guest is inaugurating the Mela tomorrow, while Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, Mahesh Sharma, Chief Parliamentary secretary Seema Trikha, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Pal Gurjar and other guest would present on this occasion.
