Faridabad: The Homertonians celebrated the World Earth Day here in its courtyard with a difference and rose up to the occasion. The school wore a festive look when all the students of classes K.G to 12th participated in a rally holding colourful banners, posters and festoons carrying meaningful messages and citing encouraging slogans.
In a drive to make this planet a better place to live in, they planted saplings in school and neighbourhood areas, cleaned all the mess and satisfied all the passers-by by providing relevant answers to their questions.
The students also went to sector-21/A cleaning streets and roads and made the people aware about the Earth Day. Students from classes 9th to 12th made beautiful models of earth. In a word, they left no stone unturned to create awareness among people about the safety measures we can take up to check pollution and pay tribute to our motherland.
