Faridabad/Alive News: The Winter Internship-2025 organized by the Department of Communication and Media Technology, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, concluded successfully. Students were awarded trophies and certificates for their outstanding work. The first-ever internship program, conducted by the Media Department, ran from January 8 to January 16. It provided students with practical training in photography, videography, editing, and the fundamentals of newspaper formatting.
Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairperson of Department of Communication and Media Technology, stated that after reviewing the students’ presentations in photography, videography, and editing, it is evident that the inaugural Winter Internship-2025 was highly fruitful. Efforts to learn, teach, and innovate never go in vain. He appreciated the students’ work and motivated them for the future. In his address, Dr. Singh emphasized that making productive use of leisure time is an essential aspect of life management, and the Winter Internship-2025 is a step toward fulfilling this goal.
A total of 35 first-year students from BAJMC, B.Sc. VCMT, and MAJMC programs participated in this internship. Under the guidance of senior instructor Dushyant Tyagi, Production Assistants Pankaj Saini, and Anju Singh, the students received practical training in photography, videography, editing, news reading, formatting processes, and other basic techniques over the course of a week.
In his congratulatory message, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar highlighted the Media Department’s commitment to innovation, with the internship being a prime example. Dean Prof. Anuradha Sharma congratulated all participants, especially the winners, and extended her best wishes for their bright future.

The valedictory function was attended by the faculty members of the Department of Communication and Media Technology, including Dr. Taruna Narula, Dr. Sonia Hooda, and Dr. Akhilesh Tripathi. They praised the participants’ work and congratulated them on their achievements. All participants were awarded certificates, while winners received trophies. Senior instructor Dushyant Tyagi expressed gratitude to everyone. Diksha Garg and Palak Singhal anchored the event.
