Faridabad/ Alive News: Good news for the police department who work 24 hours, now they will work in shifting on the line of other administrative departments. A few days ago, considering stress in police department, K. P. Singh, Director of Police had ordered to work in shift as 12-12 hours, which has been implemented in entire Haryana. In this episode, Dr. Hanif Qureshi, Faridabad police commissioner says this is a very good initiative, while it accelerated the performance of police personnel and increases their ability to get results and their stress will be less. Though, this could be assumed a typical task, because there is already shortage of policemen. Significantly, the policemen had to work for 24 hours, resulting mental pressure was increased in them, they also became irritable due to public dealings, due to which the police department was often considered infamous.
But now shift system work in police department is going to be started. Sharing this information with mediapersons Dr. Hanif Qureshi, Police Commissioner of Faridabad told that sift work in the police department is going to start, it is a good gesture. The commissioner told that the National Police Commission had given recommendation in which was said that policemen should be given a holiday in the week and his duty should be in the shift.
On this, the Haryana government had earlier announced weekly holiday, which saw the lack of stress in the policemen, now the shift system which is going to be formed that will help in the policemen works and they will be free from stress. He further said, though the shift system in PCR and Riders is already formed but was not in police stations and police posts. He considered that so many challenges will occur after forming this system, because there is already lack of police force.
