Faridabad/Alive News: The Vice Chancellor of J.C. Bose University, Prof. S.K. Tomar, launched the new edition of the newsletter ‘Sanchaar’, which is produced by the students of the Department of Communication and Technology. Prof. Tomar commended the students on their creativity and the format of the newsletter, encouraging them to strive for global standards in their writing. He emphasized the powerful influence of media and the importance of ensuring that its impact is clearly visible. He suggested that the newsletter should also be made available in digital format on various social media platforms to reach a wider audience.
Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairperson of the Department of Communication and Technology, explained that ‘Sanchaar’ is a reflection of the practical knowledge of media students. It is a monthly publication created by the department’s students. ‘Sanchaar’ provides an excellent platform for media students to learn by writing, editing, page layout, and photography on topics related to university events, seminars, workshops and other achievements.
Under the guidance of Senior Instructor Dushyant Tyagi and Production Assistants- Anju Singh, the media students’ editorial team prepares the ‘Sanchaar’ newsletter. The upcoming issue of the newsletter will be a special edition on the Maha Kumbh-2025 and Indian festivals, featuring articles, writings, and images related to our cultural heritage and festivals.
At the launch event of the new edition of ‘Sanchaar’ held in the Vice Chancellor’s office, Dean Dr. Anuradha Sharma praised the media students for the newsletter and congratulated the team. On this occasion, the university’s Public Relations Officer, Jitendra Singh Yadav, also congratulated and wished the entire editorial team of ‘Sanchaar’ newsletter, encouraging them to do even better.
