Vice-Chancellor Interacts with First-Year Media Students at J.C. Bose University

Faridabad/Alive News: The Department of Communication and Media Technology at J.C. Bose University, YMCA organized a “Kulaguru Samvad” interaction program, where Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar met directly with first-year students of the department.

Speaking at the session, the Vice-Chancellor said that studying at such a prestigious institution is a valuable opportunity for students and will help in their personality development as well as career growth. Responding to students’ questions, he shared that construction of the university hostel will begin soon. He also announced that the university’s cultural and sports festival, Culmyca, will be restarted after a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He further explained that the university is working to strengthen student exchange programs and is giving priority to student welfare and mental health awareness. To modernize teaching methods, facilities like smart boards, projectors, and other digital learning tools will be introduced across the campus in phases.

CMT Chairperson Prof. Pawan Singh said that such interactive sessions are important for the overall development of students. He added that these programs help the administration and faculty understand students’ expectations and suggestions so they can be implemented effectively.

Faculty members, including Dr. Rahul Arya, Dr. Sonia Hooda, Dr. Ravi K. Dhar, and many students attended the event. The program was coordinated by Dr. Akhilesh Tripathi.

The interaction proved to be inspiring and helped build stronger communication and cooperation between the university and the students in Faridabad.
