Faridabad/Alive News : Van Mahotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm and awareness at Manav Sanskar Public School to promote the importance of trees and environmental conservation. The event began with a special morning assembly highlighting the significance of forests in our lives.
As part of the celebration, students actively participated in an outdoor tree plantation drive under the guidance of Jaimala, Priya Suri, Manish, and Prachi . With saplings in their hands and smiles on their faces, students planted trees in the school garden and nearby areas, spreading the message of “Each One, Plant One.”
The day also saw a range of stage performances by students, including speeches, skits, songs, dances, and a poetry recitation — all centred around the theme of nature and environment. The Students of Nursery class presented Themselves as Nature dress up parade, Students of LKG and UKG did a character talk of their costumes while students of class 1st and 2nd class presented tree song , Dance performances and slogan chanting.
Also, with great energy, students of class 3rd to 5th performed role play on If I were a tree and last but not the least classes 6th to 10th presented a Essay Writing Activity on Conservation of Forest All the performances were energetic and mind-blowing.
The Director Mr. Yogesh Sharma appreciated the efforts of students that these vibrant performances not only entertained but also educated everyone on the urgent need to protect our natural resources.
Principal Dr. Kaumudi Bhardwaj addressed the gathering, appreciating the efforts of the students and teachers and urging everyone to continue such green initiatives beyond Van Mahotsav.
The event concluded with a pledge to plant more trees and take care of the environment, making the celebration a memorable and meaningful one.
