Faridabad/Alive News: J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has achieved another proud moment as two of its NCC cadets have been selected for the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC)–2026 to be held in New Delhi.
The selected cadets are Deepika, a B.Sc. Mathematics student from the Army Wing, and Rachit Kardam, a B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering student from the Naval Wing. They will represent the Haryana & Delhi Directorate at RDC–2026. During the camp, they will take part in national-level parades, the Prime Minister’s Rally, cultural programs, and interactions with senior dignitaries.
Congratulating the cadets, Prof. Rajive Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University, said that their selection reflects the discipline, dedication, and high standards of the university’s NCC units. He said that Deepika and Rachit have made the entire university proud and wished them great success as they represent the university at the national level.
Dr. Mahesh Chand, Associate NCC Officer, Army Wing, said that Cadet Deepika showed excellent discipline, leadership qualities, drill skills, physical fitness, and overall personality during the tough selection process. He added that her performance in various camps and competitions proves her hard work and the strong training system of the Army Wing.
Dr. Krishan Kumar, Associate NCC Officer, Naval Wing, said that Cadet Rachit Kardam performed exceptionally well in seamanship, water activities, naval discipline, and overall camp performance. His consistent success in different NCC camps and competitions led to his selection for RDC–2026.
Dr. O. P. Mishra, Incharge, Centre for NCC, said that the selection of both cadets is a matter of great pride for the university. He stated that their dedication truly represents the spirit of NCC and brings honor to the institution. He congratulated them and wished them the very best for the future.
