“Healthy mind resides in Healthy Body”
Faridabad/ Alive News: D.A.V. Public School, NH- 3, Faridabad understands the vitality of sound health that’s why the school organized a Summer Sports Camp from May 19, 2017 to May 31, 2017 in its sports ground. Various sports training, like Archery, TaekwonDo, Volleyball, Handball, and Cricket were given under the excellence guidance of the versatile sport coaches. More than 130 students participated in the camp with great enthusiasm. Throughout the days, the coaches Ravinder Khatri and Vijay Laxmi trained the students for Handball, Ravi Chaudhary taught the skills of Volleyball, Prabhkar Jha and Ajay Grover trained the students for Cricket, Deepak furnished the students for Archery and the techniques of self-defense were sharpened by thecoach of TaekwonDo, Syed Firoz. On the last day of the camp, various friendly matches were organized to check the skills of the students. The Principal of the school, Jyoti Dahiya, encouraged and motivated the students for the good health. She insisted on sportsmanship and discipline in a sport person’s life. At the end, a sumptuous treat was given to all participants.
