Faridabad/Alive News: DAV School NH-3 campus was abuzz with excitement as students of classes VIII to XII participated in a series of sports competitions. The three – day extravaganza, which concluded yesterday, saw students showcasing their talents, skills, and teamwork.
The morning assembly started with prayer followed by DAV Gaan. Parents of these students were also called to honour them . The participants mesmerized the audience with their talent, energy, and enthusiasm .
“Achievement is a dream caught in the net of persistence”. Behind every achievement is a story of persistence no one saw. The achievers were felicitated by the school administration and faculty members.
Yash Dahiya bagged three Gold and one Bronze medal in Archery. Mukund Sharma attained one Gold and one Bronze medal and Tamanna bagged four gold medals .. Dev Bamal got one Gold Medal.
In Boxing Under 19 Jaspreet bagged a Gold Medal Sunil Thapa obtained a Silver medal. In handball girls under 19 Akshara, Khushi , Ramabha bagged a Silver medal . In taekwondo under 17 Rishabh obtained a Bronze medal. In volleyball under 17 boys Devansh, Jatin, Sanchay and Moksh bagged a Gold medal.
In volleyball under 17 Simran secured a Silver medal. The sports competitions were an adrenaline-pumping experience, with students vying for top honors in various disciplines. The students displayed remarkable teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship, making the competitions a true celebration of school spirit.
Principal Ms. Jyoti Dahiya appreciated the efforts of the students and congratulated their parents. She also states that events like this provide a platform to our students to showcase their talents, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and build lasting memories.
She concluded that she is proud of each and every student who participated and made this event a resounding success. She also congratulated the Sports Department and all the faculty of the school for their support to the students.
