Faridabad/ Alive News: SRS International School successfully celebrated its Annual Function at Faridabad campus on December 26. Through this event, the school laid great emphasis on a wholesome route of education of their students, by promotion of extra-curricular activities as an added asset. Meanwhile, Mr. Tek Chand Sharma, MLA, Prithla chaired the event as the Chief Guest and also inaugurated the episode by lighting the official lamp.
During this, the fun-filled event was a showcase of talent and expertise by students from class 1 to 12. The students presented a scintillating display of talent through dance, music, recitation and drama. The audiences were left spellbound with the in-house renditions of, “The Jungle Safari” and “The Story of Independence”, two vibrant stage-plays which were way ahead of their time. Exemplary students, in both study and sports were awarded for their contribution in making the school proud. The event was graced by eminent personalities including G .P. Jindal, Mr. Vinay Goyal, Managing Director, SRS International School and Mrs. Deepika Sharma, Principal ,SRS International School. Mr. Goyal sparked a fire of inspiration amongst the attendees, with his enlightening speech on the government’s initiative, “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”. Alongside, Mrs. Sharma gravelly stressed upon the benefits of extra-curricular activities and thanked teachers and parents for contributing in achieving the goals of the institution.

While the event marked our Annual day, it also served as a great respite for students from their regular studies. The era of patriarchy has slowly gone into irrelevance, as women are holding the fort in every field.
