Faridabad/Alive News: To commemorate the brilliant academic performance of the students of Classes VI to VIII, D.A.V. Public School, Sector 37, under the able guidance of its dynamic Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota, the leading lady of this flagship of knowledge, and Supervisory Head of the Middle Segment Ms. Adarsh Sharma, held the Scholar Badge Ceremony on July 26, 2023. Scholar Badge is awarded to the students, who with consistent efforts, have achieved more than 80% in aggregate and 75% and above in all the subjects in the Final Examination.
The event commenced with the Special Assembly conducted by the students of Class VII A on ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ spreading the message that ‘No love is greater than the love for Motherland’. 74 students from Class VI, 66 students from Class VII and 41 students from Class VIII were the proud achievers, who received their badges and certificates for academic excellence during the session 2022-23, amid resounding applause from the audience. It was a momentous time for the meritorious students who with perseverance, diligence and relentless efforts strived to achieve their goals. A mesmerising Rajasthani Dance performed to the tune of ‘Padharo Maharo Desh’ captivated the heart and soul of the audience.
The School Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota congratulated the students on their achievements and assured the proud parents that students of DAV are making a mark in the world and these students too would make them immensely proud by evolving into great human beings. The event culminated with the National Anthem, Samapan Geet and Jai Gosh.
