Faridabad/ Alive News: Poverty and poor hygiene often cause of urinary tract infection. The patients having urinary tract infection (UTI) problems are being seen long queue in B.K hospital’s OPD. The main cause of this disease is less water intake, poor hygiene of undergarments and unawareness regarding symptoms and sign of disease . Men and women are suffering from this disease.
Dr Upendra Bhardwaj, general and laperoscopic surgeon, B.K hospital talking to the Alive News Correspondent said lower class families live in the unhygienic surrounding area, who are unknown about proper hygiene or their less income force them to live their own way. Poor people often wear only one undergarment for many days and they do not even wash it properly. He said these habit fall them ill.
Dr Bhardwaj said urinary tract infection is spreading fastly in male and female and it can be identified as frequent urination, irritation, pain during urination, and burning micturition in its early stage and female may present with white discharge. He further said so many cases of this disease come to see on daily basis. Dr Upendra Bhardwaj said this disease can be stopped by making people awareness early diagnosis and treatment and more water intake.
