Faridabad: Rapidly growing pollution in the city has increased problems for the Asthma patients, by which number of patients has increased the both in the govt. as well as the private hospitals. Eye irritation and breathing problems are increasing in common men, resulting number of patients are witness in the city’s hospitals. Doctors are advising to the parents to care their children in the season. The numbers of patients, including children coming to the hospitals daily basis have increased by 30 percent.
Civil Hospital senior cardiologist Doctor Dr. Virendra told about 100 patients were visiting for the OPD just two days ago, but now numbers of patients have increased 150 to 200 since Tuesday. Most of patients have complained of chest pain, cough and cold, while schooling children are also on the similar line.
B.K hospital pediatric specialist Dr. Goyal told schooling children are being more victims due to smog. Sulfur dioxide and carbon monoxide mixed smog are causing chest pain in the children, approximately 40 to 50 children suffering from Chest pain and pneumonia diseases are visiting to the OPD every day. He further said number of the patients had increased due to breathing problem in the last few days.
