Faridabad/ Alive News: Parth Gupta (2013 batch IAS officer) took charge an Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Faridabad today. Apart from this, Parth Gupta will also be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Faridabad Smart City Limited. Earlier Parth has also been the additional Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation.
Parth’s father S.S Prsad is an IAS officer (1984 Batch) in Haryana cadre and the government has once again given him the responsibility of the state home secretary.
S.S Prasad has also been SDM of Ballabgarh and Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad District. Parth Gupta was born in Ballabgarh when his father was SDM of Ballabgarh. This was the main reason that Parth Gupta took his the first posting as SDM of Ballabgarh. Parth Gupta’s wife Astha Modi is also Additional Commissioner of Police in NIT. The Deputy Commissioner Sameer Pal Srow was handed over additional charge of the corporation when Sonal Goyal, IAS officer (2008 Batch) appointed as the Deputy Commissioner in Jhajjar.
