Faridabad/ Alive News: The ongoing seven day long NSS special camp in DAV Century College concluded its second day as sanitation day. Its volunteers conducted cleanliness in the vicinity of the college. The cleanliness campaign headed by Dr. Sunita Ahuja (volunteer girls’ wing) and Jitender Dhul (Volunteer Boys’ wing) conducted in NH-3 parks, roads and streets. People of the area participated in the cleanliness with the volunteers and motivated to the commuters to do the same for remaining their area neat and clean.
In the noon time the volunteers cooked food and fed the needy. The purpose of this activity was to made the students aware about an importance of labor and realize them that true selfless service of others gets true peace of mind. In evening time, the volunteers participated in several plays as yoga, exercise and kho-kho.
In the second day programme, Dr. Narender Duggal, Anjali Manchda, Saroj Kumar, Pramod Kumar, Ritu Sachdeva, Kavita Sharma, Ashok Mangla, Anand Singh, Mahendr Singh, Mohini Bisht, Ajay, Renu and Manisha were present on the occasion.
