Faridabad/ Alive News: NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Champaran Satyagraha with great fervour and gaiety. K.M. Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, NHPC inaugurated an exhibition dedicated exclusively to the life of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi at its Corporate Office at Faridabad on 17th April 2017.
The exhibition depicts Gandhiji’s life journey and various milestones on the path of achieving India’s freedom with a special focus on the Champaran Satyagraha. As part of the celebrations, a special lecture on the Champaran Satyagraha by Prof. Aparna Basu, Chairperson, National Gandhi Museum and Library was also delivered on this occasion which was attended by a large number of NHPC employees.
