Faridabad/Alive News : DAV Nh-3 started the day on a sweet and juicy note for the little children of Classes LKG to 2nd as they celebrated “National Mango Day” on 22 July in school premises.
The program began with a general conversation about the king of fruits- Mango, followed by rhymes and singing & dancing session which the kids enjoyed thoroughly. Teachers briefed the students about the various forms of its consumption such as- mango shake, ice cream, jam, pickle, chutney etc.
To make the event more enjoyable a Mango Party during Nashta Paani was held. Each child was ready with a juicy mango and enjoyed the taste and fun of eating a slice or two of a mango with friends and teachers. A general reflection was sought from the students at the Mango Party.
In addition to this, the little ones of class LKG celebrated & enjoyed the YELLOW DAY activity. The children came dressed up in the shades of yellow & prepared the yellow coloured items in which they showed their creative & imaginative skills.
At the end school Principal. Jyoti Dahiya appreciated the efforts of the students as well as teachers and showered her blessings. Overall, it was a day full of mango delights.
