MSPS Celebrates Navratri, Dussehra, Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti with Enthusiasm

Faridabad/Alive News: Manav Sanskar Public School celebrated Navratri, Dussehra, Gandhi Jayanti, and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti with great enthusiasm and joy in the school premises. The program began with a short introduction about the importance of these festivals and national days.

The Nursery and UKG students won everyone’s hearts with their performances as Ramayan characters, showing devotion and righteousness. UKG students also enacted Gandhi Ji, spreading his message of truth and non-violence. Class 1 students performed role plays of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, highlighting their simplicity and values.

The girls of Class 2 beautifully presented the nine forms of Goddess Durga through Navdurga performances, showcasing strength and power. The celebration of Dussehra reached its peak with the symbolic burning of Ravana, symbolizing the victory of good over evil, followed by chants of Jai Shree Ram.

The event was graced by Director Mr. Yogesh Sharma, Principal Dr. Kaumudi Bhardwaj, Mentor Rama Kaul, and Reena Mishra. They encouraged students to learn from the lives of great leaders and the teachings of our epics.

Director Sir reminded students about the values of Gandhi Ji — truth, non-violence, and simplicity, and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji — honesty, discipline, and his famous slogan Jai Jawan Jai Kisan. He also shared how Navratri and Dussehra teach us that patience, courage, and goodness always win over evil.

Principal Ma’am told the students that festivals are not only for celebrations but also to learn values. She inspired students to fight against inner evils like anger, greed, and dishonesty, just as Lord Rama defeated Ravana. She also praised the students’ efforts in their performances.

Mentor Ma’am said the day was special as it connected students with culture and history. She reminded them that Gandhi Ji and Shastri Ji proved that courage and simplicity can change the nation. She also encouraged students to follow these values in their lives.

The program ended with loud applause, leaving behind a strong message — festivals are not just about joy, but also about adopting values like honesty, courage, and respect for our culture.
