Faridabad/ Alive News: Raksha Bandhan is the day when siblings celebrate the special bond of love. Sure, they might fight and annoy each other throughout the year, but on this auspicious day, things take a 180-degree turn and suddenly there is lost love found. Sisters tie a thread/band around their brother’s wrist and in exchange he promises to protect his sibling from all evils. With such a belief, children of primary wing in Modern Convent School celebrated Rakhi festival with great pomp.
The students wore colourful Indian traditional dresses and were very excited since morning. They brought party food to make the day special. The Rakhi making activity was organized where the students learnt to make rakhis from their teachers. Students showed keen interest in the occasion and beautiful environment was made full of joy and love.
At the end of the program, the school Principal Aruna Sarkar appreciated the students & showered her blessings.
